Le Tueur au puzzle a mystérieusement échappé à ceux qui pensaient le tenir. Pendant que la police se démène pour tenter de remettre la main dessus, le génie criminel a décidé de reprendre son jeu terrifiant avec l'aide de sa protégée, Amanda... Le docteur Lynn Denlon et Jeff ne le savent pas encore, mais ils sont les nouveaux pions de la partie qui va commencer...

Jeff is an anguished man, who grieves and misses his young son that was killed by a driver in a car accident. He has become obsessed for revenge against the man and reckless with his wife and daughter. When Dr. Lynn Denlon, who has troubles with her marriage, is abducted by the deranged Jigsaw's apprentice Amanda, she is brought to a gruesome warehouse to keep John Kramer alive in spite of having a terminal brain tumor. Amanda puts a necklace gadget full of explosives around Dr. Lynn's neck connected to John Kramer's life support system, and tells her that if he dies the device will explode. Meanwhile, Jeff is submitted to a sick game of forgiveness with surprising dark consequences.

هنا يقع الاختيار في هذا الفلم على شخصيات جديدة منها احد الممرضات الذي ارتكبت الاخطاء وتختبر من قبل جيغسو الذي يحبك بشكل قوي عملية الاختبار مع كل الادوات التي سيحتاجها المختبر في الامتحان الممرضة هنا يجب عليها ان تقوم بانقاد حياة جيغسو المجرم حيث موته هو سيسبب موتها وموت اشخاص اخرين حيث ان موت الباقي لن تتوقعوه كذلك فهو محبك سترونه في اخر الفلم .. زوج الممرضة سيمتحن حتى يقوم بكل مراحل الاختبار وذلك انتقاما لطفله الذي قتل حيث ستكون معه شخصيات جديدة تانوية سوف تمتحن كذلك وسوف تموت .. في الاخير سيصل زوج الممرضة ليجد ان زوجته ماتت بسبب اماندا يونغ لكن مخالفتها للقوانين جعلتها تموت هي الاخرى حيث زوج الممرضة ايضا سيقول بقتل جيغسو هنا تعود الاحداث للوراء اكتر واكتر ويمكن القول ان هذا الجزء هو اهم جزء في السلسلة كلها الفلاش باك سيكون حاضر انطلاقا من اخر اللقطات جيغسو سيموت بسبب مرض السرطان في دماغه اماندا تموت لمخالفة القوانين والممرضة كذلك .. هل انتهت مهمة جيغسو هنا ؟ لم تنتهي بل بدأت للتو في اختبار كل من لم يقدر حياته .. الشرطي المكلف بالقضية ككل ستعرفون مذا ما دوره في الفلم بباقي الاجزاء ..

2.Les producteurs ont demandé aux producteurs de Scary Movie 4 (2006) se ils pouvaient utiliser leur jeu de salle de bain pour ce film car ce était une réplique exacte des ensembles utilisés dans Saw (2004) et Saw II (2005).

3.Acteurs Tobin Bell et Shawnee Smith a passé plusieurs semaines avant le tournage d'apprendre à connaître l'autre personnellement pour la relation entre leurs personnages semble crédible et réelle.
