Dans ce nouveau volet de la saga Saw, il semble que Hoffman soit le seul héritier du pouvoir du Tueur au puzzle. Mais lorsque son secret risque d'être découvert, il n'a pas le droit à l'erreur et doit éliminer chaque menace. Les pièges vont se multiplier pour se refermer, inexorablement, en déclenchant autant de frissons que de cas de conscience...

English :

Jigsaw and his young apprentice, Amanda, are dead. But the grisly games continue. 5 supposed strangers find themselves in the midst of the big game, and believe they are in a survival of the fittest competition. Via his now infamous video linked doll, Jigsaw conveys the message that they should ignore their instincts, and ignore his advice at their peril. Meanwhile, agent Strahm wants to prove that Hoffman is an apprentice to Jigsaw, and pursues him as he continues his twisted games. What Strahm does not realize is that Hoffman is testing him all along, and must pass his test in order to stay alive.

في الجزء الخامس من المنشار ستكون القضية اصعب واكتر حبكا وتعقيدا حيث ان هوية الشرطي الخائن الذي يساعد جيغسو في جرائمه سوف يكشف من شرطي اخر يعمل معه وهنا الاحداث تعود اكتر واكتر وسنعتر على قصة جيغسو بعمق والتعرف على زوجته جيل الذي كانت تسانده ربما بشكل غير مباشر حيث انها كانت حامل بابن جيغسو لكنه توفى من احد المتهورين الذي سيتم اختباره عبر جيغسو "الامر حدث قديما قبل الجزء الاول لكنه جاء على اساس حدث في الاخر لكن القصة تعود للوراء الان" سينجح قاتل طفل جيغسو في الامتحان لتمنح له فرصة لكن سيضعيها بعد ان يفكر في مخالفة قانون جيغسو .. التعذيب حاضر ايضا في الجزء حيث 5 سيتم اختبارهم لهم علاقة وطيدة بينهم ولا يعرفون انفسهم لكن هناك شيئ مرتبط بينهم ويجمع بينهم جميعا لتكن تهوهم سيعلهم يقومون بالقتال من اجل البقاء والقوانين واضحة موت واحد سيتسبب في الموت الجميع لكن هناك من سينجو في الاخير .. القصة تتعقد وفي نفس الوقت تتضح .. الجزء التالي سترون اشياء جديدة ونهايات غير متوقعة .. مارك هوفمان يعاقب باقي الشخصيات اتباعا لاعمال جيغسو المكلف بها ..
